As a second generation Italian American born into a family of butchers, the food business was a natural starting point for Al. After receiving a degree in Economics, he began his career in the food business at Hormel. After 8 years of managing over 75 accounts, he became the New York District Manager for Ralston Purina Food Service over
As a second generation Italian American born into a family of butchers, the food business was a natural starting point for Al. After receiving a degree in Economics, he began his career in the food business at Hormel. After 8 years of managing over 75 accounts, he became the New York District Manager for Ralston Purina Food Service overseeing sales, marketing and distribution to the tri-state area. He eventually began working in the food brokerage business representing Armanino Foods, Hormel Foods, Quaker Oats, Quakermaid Meats and others. Al drove principal sales using various marketing strategies, analytical forecasting, pricing and merchandising. After years of working for companies such as Reliant Sales, Dutch Prime Foods and Metromark; Al decided to take his successful track record, knowledge and experience to his own food brokerage firm...Someway Food was born.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Economics, Greg grew up in the food business and one of his first jobs was food service sales. His background includes a tour in the Air Force, working in restaurants domestically and overseas and 2 years spent in corporate sales in New York City. Greg’s career path has now come full cir
A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Economics, Greg grew up in the food business and one of his first jobs was food service sales. His background includes a tour in the Air Force, working in restaurants domestically and overseas and 2 years spent in corporate sales in New York City. Greg’s career path has now come full circle and is back in New Jersey working in the food business. In his current role with Someway Food, he is managing the tri-state area and servicing manufacturers from across the globe.
